What is the best blade in Genshin Impact? ›

Skyward Blade is ideal for characters who rely on Elemental Bursts for support, then deal their own bouts of DMG through Normal Attacks. Jean, Kaeya, and occassionally Furina can take benefit from this weapon's passive talent.

If you wanted a Support and Sub-DPS weapon that has a great base attack, then you've found your companion in the Skyward Blade. And of course, the Energy Recharge stat helps with Lynette's Burst uptime, as we've already seen.

Speaking of Energy Recharge, prepare to invest at least 200% Energy Recharge into Lynette for most teams, as her Burst is the majority of her utility and damage. 230% is the main “safe” point before you have to include several Favonius weapons or other Anemo characters to ease Energy Recharge requirements.

A support weapon, with a dps ability that solely relies on EB, but doesn't transfer to other party members. I just don't get it! The only character it's good for is Bennett in my opinion. And even then he's really only getting full use out of the high base attack and energy recharge.

Polearms also have the longest range of any melee weapon in the game, putting them above Swords and Claymores. Just from gameplay mechanics alone, Polearms could be considered the ruler of weapons in Genshin Impact.
